Inspired by Miles' dance practise 'Corpus' explores the perceptual nature and myriad definitions of the corporeal body through electronic sound. Hypnotic textures and pulsating grooves intersect, forming a detailed, sensual and hallucinogenic form of techno and abstract sound that stimulates the mind and body in equal measure. Daoist and Animist philosophy informs an auditory vehicle, both motion and stasis existing simultaneously. Featuring remnants of drone, fourth world, and ethereal spectra, 'Corpus' guides listeners from deeper club sounds to the ambient and experimental, inviting our bodies to be beyond us.
